The Dinosaur Project

Yes, I know what you're thinking. This looks like a cheesy found footage mock of Jurassic Park, but trust me, it's not. A team of explorers goes traveling into the Congo to explore the myth of a creature that is claimed to be the 'Loch Ness Monster of Africa'. The leader of the team's son sneaks on the helicopter to join them. At one point, strange flying creatures damage the helicopter making it crash. This leaves the team in an unknown area of the Congo.
On the first night they are attacked by the same creatures and seek shelter on a boat in the river until morning. The following day they pull up onto the shore and stumble across a friendly, smaller breed of Dinosaur.
The son puts a camera on one of the dinosaurs to track where it goes. While trying to track it, they get split up and things just go downhill from there.
Overall, I guess this would be considered a horror/thriller. It's really not that scary. It is however interesting. I really enjoyed it. I can easily say it's the only dinosaur movie I have seen besides the Jurassic Park trilogy that wasn't cheesy as all hell.
