We start with Dr. Edward Pretorius and Crawford Tillinghast who have created a resonator which stimulated the pineal gland and opens up the mind to other dimensions.
When this is done, strange creatures start appearing, and by the time Crawford shuts the machine off, the Dr has disappeared. When Crawford tells his story to officials, he is deemed crazy and put in a psycho ward. However, Dr. Katherine McMichaels decides she wants to do research and continue the experiments, so she, along with a police escort Bubba, take Crawford back to Dr. Pretorius' house.
Despite Crawford's warnings about the resonator, Dr McMichaels still insists on using it. This time when they use it, they find that Dr Pretorius is not dead, but in another dimension, and throughout time he changes and deforms.
From this point on, things start getting very strange. Dr McMichaels starts to grow an obsession with using the resonator, and Dr Pretorius finds ways to get it started from another dimension. From this point on things get very weird, including crawford growing a third eye. This movie is a good one for the sci-fi and horror fans, especially those who are fond of 80s horror.
