Absentia

This movie was very well done for the budget it was made with ($70,000). Tricia's husband, Daniel, has been missing for seven years.  Her sister, Callie moves in with her to ease her pressure of having to legally claim her husband dead by 'absentia', which pretty much means he's been missing for so long they assume he is dead. Tricia has been trying to move on with her life, and has been seeing Ryan, the detective for her husband's case. Meanwhile, Callie has taken a weird interest and has been drawn to a nearby tunnel.
Callie does some research and finds out that there have been many disappearances over time connected with the tunnel. In the midst of all this, Daniel suddenly re-appears. Only he is not quite himself. He is very skiddish and paranoid.
Strange things start happening to Daniel, Tricia, and Callie after this and it all seems to be connected to the tunnel. There seems to be some demonic force inside of the tunnel.

As I said before, considering the budget, this movie is very well done. There is a creepy atmosphere to the whole movie. The music just has an ominous tone, which sets an eerie feeling to the whole film. The acting was also very good. There isn't a whole lot of action in this one, but it's still good for creeping you out a bit.
